We’re a team of property experts based in Valencia who have been through all of the stages that we now seek to help you with.
We’ve Found our own properties after relocating to Valencia from the UK, Germany and Argentina.
We’ve Funded our own properties after navigating the complex world of Spanish bank finance to secure mortgages that have allowed us to live in our dream homes in the sun.
And, we’ve Transformed our own properties from tired, aged properties into beautiful oases of calm.
We’re a combination of entrepreneurs, mortgage brokers, architects and construction specialists.

We were all attracted to Valencia for the same reason as you.
The affordability compared to other Spanish cities like Barcelona and Madrid, and especially compared to major US and UK cities, was a really attractive proposition for us: we’ve worked hard to build our careers but we saw more and more of it being spent on housing and day-to-day living.
If we’re honest, the Mediterranean lifestyle with over 300 days of sunshine annually, beautiful beaches and a relaxed pace of life must be the best on the planet! Whilst leaving the hustle and bustle of the big city (London in Sean and Laura’s case) was an adjustment, the idea of ever going back is unfathomable. We always said, “we can’t change Spain, but Spain will change us” - and it’s been for the better. We value time with friends and family and just being outdoors much more than we ever could in the Big Smoke!
Valencia has a vibrant cultural heritage with stunning architecture spanning Roman, Moorish, Gothic and modernist periods, plus world-famous festivals like Las Fallas. The city (and surrounding communidad) also has excellent infrastructure with a modern airport (with good international connections), high-speed (and cheap) rail to Madrid and an efficient public transportation system that makes all of the city accessible - whatever time of day.
Finally, it is the high quality of life with exceptional healthcare (Spain's system is consistently ranked among the world's best) , safety and public amenities like the 9km Turia Gardens that runs through the city that keep us here year after year - and has even helped us welcome our young children into the world.
When we started searching for our own properties, we did exactly what you are doing (or have done) and researched area and area after area. We wore out the shoe leather and explored on foot as many times as we could.
Not wishing to overstretch ourselves (we didn’t know we would end up staying here for so many years), we looked at what we could afford within our budget.
Time and time again the images we saw of properties were old, tired, boring and uninspiring but the budget was right.
So we went to each viewing armed with a tape measure and an open mind! After many, many false starts, we realised we needed help. We needed help to see what these flats could become. We needed help figuring out how the mortgage and buying process worked. We needed help understanding the language and finding reliable builders who would turn up when they said they would, charged us what they quoted and did the job to the highest quality.
Armed with all of this knowledge, we started looking differently at the old, tired, boring and uninspiring properties through a different lens.
We’ve been there and done it - and we noticed we weren’t the only ones wanting to make this transition easier.
So we set up Siroco Projects to help those in a similar situation realise their dream of moving to Valencia and living the Mediterranean dream (in a property they’d be excited to invite friends and family over to!).

Sean Morrison

Sean has been living in Spain since 2017 - first in Barcelona then in Valencia for the last 3 years.
He is responsible for helping our clients find their perfect property.Having gone through the process himself many times, he has good links with local estate agents, property finders and mortgage experts to make the first two stages of the process as smooth as possible.

Laura Spencer
FUND
Laura grew up in Germany and the UK and has been living in Valencia since 2022. She a fluent German and Spanish speaker.
She is a funding expert, a qualified mortgage broker with Mortgage Direct, she’s helped numerous people fund their property purchases in and around Valencia.
Laura understands how to position your application most favourably with Spanish banks - if there’s a mortgage deal out there, Laura will find it.

Denise Sztern
TRANSFORM
Denise is from Argentina and now lives in Valencia with her young family.
She is the architect and is skilled at helping you transform your vision to life.
Having worked on multiple projects in Valencia from primary residence reformations to investment property turnarounds, Denise is able to navigate change of use processes - meaning more opportunities become available - as well as project manage the build in full.
